Calling All Electors: Throw the Election to the House, and You Just Might Save Our Country

I was unaware that their were votes not bound to election day results

If accurate and it becomes obvious the race moves to the house could Kasich have Ohio electors throw him enough votes to be the third choice? Could Cruz?

The House must choose from the top three Electoral College vote getters. "The person having the greatest Number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President."

Since most state required their Electors to vote for the popular vote getter, that means the House would have to choose between Trump, Clinton, and Johnson. No others would be eligible.

I suspect the hildabeast will win the electoral college, trump could very well win the popular vote.
The house and senate stay the way they are essentially give or take, red states - darker red, blue states darker blue.
