Based on what? This house district that just shifted 30 points the other way?
It doesn't matter if that's the case or not. Roe was one of those third rails of politics you don't touch, like guns and Social Security. You've lost a lot of female support since that decision was handed down, especially in the suburbs where you've already been hurting due to your worship of Donald Trump. The perception is that the Republican Party is trying to outlaw abortion and it's not wrong. Several Republican state legislatures have already attempted it and got smacked down via referendums. The Democrats will ride this issue straight into Election Day.
I’m sure dems will peddle the lie that repubs took away their “right to abortion”, when in fact it was Alabama that took away their “right to an abortion”. All trump did was return the decision back to the states, where it should have been all along.
Roe was so wildly misunderstood and we had decades of people thinking abortion was “the law of the land”, it never was, it never should have been.
So you did, my bad. But the reality is with abortions at a 10 year high and abortion drugs being made widely available, the Democrat's one issue they cling to will not be the factor it has been in past elections.
Biden is the most corrupt politician in US history. Your party is about to take a MASSIVE hit the moment that Biden pardons himself and his family. Get ready for it. Its happening in November.

Why should the health care a woman is able to receive be different from one state to another? The need for health care for pregnant women is the same in every state of the union.
The fact that every state is different is difficult for women, for doctors, and for lawyers who don't know what and what is not legal, state to state.
You're playing games with women's lives and health.

That’s melodramatic. First, like most of all abortions are for convenience, and second, every state in the country has an exception for the life of the mother, most have exceptions for the life and health of the mother, and most have exception for rape and incest.
They shouldn’t, but this is not a federal government issue, it’s a state issue. According to our cotus, that’s how it’s supposed to be.

Most abortions are "for NOT convenience". That's absolutely a right wing lie. Unless you define "convenience" as being able to keep your job, your home and take care of your existing children.
75% of ALL abortions, are poor women living below or just above the poverty line. 60% of all abortions are married women living in poverty. Like all of the other lies Republicans tell their voters about abortions, the idea that only "drunken party girls" are having abortions is a fallacy.
The problem with these abortion bans is that they also ban living saving care for pregnant women having miscarriages.
1/3 of all pregnancies end in miscarriage - more than a million of them every year. and a lot of those miscarriages are incomplete or complicated, and need medical assistance. Because of advances in medical science, doctors are now able to treat most complications of pregnancy, and save women's lives. These wrong headed anti-abortion laws are banning care for miscarriages, and ectopic pregnancies, and other pregnancy complications.
Since red states started passing more and more restrictions on abortions and reproductive health care, the death rate for the complications of pregnancy and childbirth for American women have been steadily rising. In 1987, that death rate was 7.2 deaths per 1000 live births, similar to many first world countries.
Increased efforts to identify pregnancy-related deaths have contributed to an increase in the reported pregnancy-related mortality ratio. More than half of such deaths, however, are probably still unreported. Adequate surveillance of pregnancy-related mortality and morbidity is necessary for...

By 2021, it was more than 30 deaths per thousand, even though medical science has made many advances in maternal treatment since 1987, more and more American women are dying. The CDC estimates that 80% of these deaths, were preventable.
