Repubtards had an insurmountable problem with the whole premise of a "stolen election," and that was their efforts to legitimize outright lies by the loser. Trump expected to win the election. Trump lost the election. Trump didn't like losing the election. Since he expects to always win, Trump could not accept losing the election. So, he invented the idea of a stolen election, knowing full well that his supporters were to stupid to not see through his lie, and would support the lie fully.
