They are all trump employees yet he claims ignorance.. Now **** off you ******* nazi.
College is not an apprenticship. many of the things studied will not be used in the students later career. It doesn’t make a difference. My parents were on top of everything my brothers and I were being taught right up to our high school graduations. They were also very involved in our college choices as their money largely paid for it.
If any of the three of us had suggested “communications” or “gender studies” as a major, there would have been no money for college from my parents.
I disagree wholeheartedly. Then again I went to a college which was effectively a trade school. Everything was focused towards the major. Zero fluff.College is not an apprenticship. many of the things studied will not be used in the students later career.
That’s how you end up with a $350,000 debt and no applicable job skills to pay it off.One degree is as good as another in many cases. Its about personal development, solving problems, intellectual rigour and a host of other transferrebla skills
Unless I’m in the Persian Construction industry, I’m not hiring either one.As an employer I would rather employ a graduate of Persian Architecture over someone who did law
I don’t find ANY degree which does not have a dedicated career path at the end of it to have any substance. Thsts the way my parents felt too.If the degree itself lacks substance that is a different matter

Its not a pretty picture.
More evidence of the rampant corruption in Florida.
Can America stand this on a national scale ?
What you are saying is it worked for me.I disagree wholeheartedly. Then again I went to a college which was effectively a trade school. Everything was focused towards the major. Zero fluff.

I got a 2 year degree. That’s all I needed for my chosen career path. I could have gone back for another 2 years and gotten a bachelors degree in something I wasn’t interested in and had no intent on doing as a job.
Yep, and that’s exactly what I did. My two year degree was essentially a trade school diploma with just enough credits to qualify as an Assoc. of Science degree. There were more classes dedicated to subject matter (in my case CAD Design) than anything else. What you are saying is it worked for me.
Thats fine.
But thats not the whole story.
Skills not just knowledge is the point of education.
