There was no country of Palestine. Secondly, Arab squatters and settlers from Egypt, Syria, Jordan, etc., simply filled a void left by the collapse of the ottoman empire which did its own share of land grabbing.
You refer to an "indigenous population" while failing to understand that the Arab squatters were not an "indigenous population".
The mandate charter called Palestine a country ten times.
You are mistaken and are basing your conclusions on false premise.
The mistake and the false premise is yours for suggesting that calling a loosely defined geographic area a "country", makes it so.
The fact remains there is not now, nor had there ever been a country of "Palestine".
