(QUESTION)They lied. It's not a matter of happening. Both Israel and the Palestinians used it as a basis for declaring independence.
You keep saying Resolution 181 is meaningless, but I keep proving to you that it's not.

Israel lied about accepting resolution 181.
I don't know about the PLO. They mentioned it. It meant nothing. Like it has never meant anything.
If Tinmore can't distort the truth, then he has nothing. He lies all the time, but very easy to catch. A while back he kept posting a flag on a theatre in Jerusalem pre 1948 and calling it a "Palestinian Flag" in yet another of his lame attempts. When exposed that it was only a meaningless flag of the "Arab National Movement" he slithered away like a bug. He posted that picture a few more times before he gave up on that false propaganda piece. But I expect he will post it yet again soon.P F Tinmore; et al,

>>Independent Arab and Jewish States and the Special International Regime for the City of Jerusalem, set forth in Part III of this Plan, shall come into existence in Palestine two months after the evacuation of the armed forces of the mandatory Power has been completed but in any case not later than 1 October 1948. The boundaries of the Arab State, the Jewish State, and the City of Jerusalem shall be as described in Parts II and III below. <<
The lines have changed due to aggressive wars by arab states against Israel. Partition in principal was always on the table but the demands from the palestinians before talk cold take place was not reasonable.
New boundaries can be draw as long as Israeli security is not threatened.
Some groups of palestinian refuse to accept partisan and want all the mandate territory, or death.

This is how he operates. He is emotionally tied to the Palestinian cause and will lie and deceive like a good foot soldier to further his cause. Look at the number of times Rocco has tried to educate this nincompoop.
The last thing we should expect from Tinmore is intellectual honesty.

The mandate had no territory.
neither did the palestinians.
Mandate was the caretaker and responsible for the division of the remains from the Ottoman empire.
All the states were created out the Ottoman fall.

All the states were created out the Ottoman fall.
Indeed, it was not theirs. You can't use the term mandate territory. There was no such thing.
Now, did Palestine belong to the indigenous population who were citizens of that country?
Or,
Did it belong to a bunch of foreign settlers out of Europe?

There was no country of Palestine. Secondly, Arab squatters and settlers from Egypt, Syria, Jordan, etc., simply filled a void left by the collapse of the ottoman empire which did its own share of land grabbing.
You refer to an "indigenous population" while failing to understand that the Arab squatters were not an "indigenous population".
Finally you get it. How proud of you I am. Yes indeed, "Palesttine belonged to the indigenous population who were citizens of that country." (actually land or territory). And among the indigenous population WERE JEWS. So tell us how many Muslims were among the indigenous population of Palestine who were citizens of that land?

When Palestine was separated from the Ottoman Empire, about 5-7% were Jews, 15% or so were Christians, The remainder were Muslims with an insignificant number of other minorities.
This is not different from what I have always said.
Eh Tinmore. The subject on this thread is Education Of Palestinian Children. Would you care to join the rest of us by chiming in on the subject with your wealth of unbiased knowledge rather than trying to change the subjects all the time?

Sure.
Children are taught history, geography, nationalism, patriotism, and to honor those who sacrifice in the defense of their country.
It is the same everyplace.
According to the IPCRI, Palestinian children are still taught hatred toward Jews & Israel. But Farfur would have disagreed.
