george santayana said what you quote about history, Hitler solved no economic problems; Nazis gained wealth by theft, and war. Even Christian gemans, not in concentration camps were short of food by 1943. Hitler had a facade of properity, again through conquest and theft; that is was the failed invasion ofthe Soviet Union was undertaken, to get to the"breadbasket" of the USSR. Read up on the subject. The Rise & Fall of the Third Reich is a decent intro. Eichmann in Jersulam is also easily accessable. Some of the best books are not, unfortunately.
