I'd clap if the minimum wage is at least $15 hours. Americans cant afford so many things that their counter parts can in Europe, Canada and elsewhere.
Most of my relatives in Europe for example are vacationing overseas for 3 ro 4 weeks. I cant say that about the middle class here, where some cant even afford taking vacation days.
That been said those job numbers dont mean much.

The economy added 164,000 jobs in July, a decline from June but well above the 100,000 that is required to keep pace with growth in the working population.

The nation's unemployment rate stayed unchanged at 3.7 percent, still the lowest in almost 50 years, according to the latest employment snapshot released Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The June figure was revised down from 224,000 to 193,000 positions added, and May was revised down by 10,000 jobs to 62,000.


Wall Street remained largely mute on the data, which comes at the end of a wild week in which markets were rocked by a rate cut and a surprise announcement on tariffs.

Yep, not sure you should be getting so exited. Let's take Canada for example, one of their provinces (Quebec) has a minimum wage of $12.50. Great, that's higher than in the U.S., but wait, the current exchange rate is $1.00 US = $1.32 Canadian. So that minimum wage just became $9.46 US.

When unemployment is at 3.6% the economy is at full employment. Its not like when Obama's economy had no where to go but up. Obama was coming out of the "Great Recession" and had $800b of TARP money to help. Trump had the Fed raising rates AND doing $50b a month of reducing its balance sheet. Trump is managing the economy, Obama went along for the ride, remember, "those jobs are not coming back"? Obama gets a "D", Trump is doing much better.
