North America was where Greenland is today some 30-50 million years ago. That is the duration of North American Ice Age, because the same thing happened to North America then that is happening to Greenland now.

And Co2 surely does not explain why Greenland is frozen south of the Arctic Circle while Alaska is green and not frozen north of the Arctic Circle. The continent specific ice age explains that 100%.
