Women show up to early voting in larger numbers than men. And those men who show up to Early voting are usually retired.

On Election Day itself guys will use a longer lunch to vote or as a reason to stop off for a beer on the way home or whatever....and use voting as an excuse.

Men, generally speaking, are "last minute" creatures of habit. Putting off something they need to do because they can put it off....not because they really need to.

And the polls reflect that EVERY ELECTION SEASON. This one is no different from norms....

Usually Republicans have been hesitant to use absentee ballots by mail. The main reason why is that they are usually not counted and most are tossed because of incompleteness (forget to sign security envelope and ballot and outer envelope or address)

Usually Republicans vote on Election day itself. (It's an attitude propensity in line with their party ideals)

This election more Republicans seem to be using mail in ballots a bit more than usual.

Not enough to change anything anywhere....but enough for statisticians to say, "huh, would you look at that!".

Republicans vote on Election day itself. There has been increased republican turnout for early voting this election...but we shall see what comes.
However....

40-39% Democrat to Republican in Early voting numbers with 27% of the vote in so far. (Note that 21% is unknown until full reporting is complete)

Meaning that this is likely going to be a blowout for Republicans.
