Not really. This is their primary, their party, and their choice for presidential candidate, they can do it how they like
This is classic,
frigidweirdo is proud the DNC cheated in the primary to screw Bernie and give it to Hillary. It makes him proud to be a Democrat.
I'm not a Democrat.
Cheating? Well, I couldn't give a damn if they cheated or not. It's their primary, it's their choice and they're allowed to choose who the hell they like to run for THEIR PARTY. I mean, if they want to stop Republicans from running as their candidate, they're perfectly entitled to do so.
I mean, I don't hear you going on about any of the other candidates and cheating. The Libertarians only had 6 primary elections or caucuses, they decided how to run their election and Johnson was chosen.
However almost every other country in the world doesn't bother with this nonsense. In the UK the Prime Minister has never been elected Prime Minister even by the people. The leader of a party is chosen according to the rules the party set. The Labour Party elected Ed Milliband a few years back even when his brother won the majority of the members and the majority of the MPs' votes. Yet the Trade Unions had a massive say in the elections so Ed Milliband got elected.
The problem is, in the UK if you don't like it, you go to another party, set up your own party. In the US this is a waste of time as 3rd parties are seen as a waste of time. So people believe they have only two choices and if that party decided what to do then you're losing democracy.
Wake up call. There is no ******* democracy. Even if you get your presidential nomination, like Trump, it doesn't change anything, the party is still in charge of the party.
If you actually want things to change, then look to Proportional Representation which means one vote one say, rather than the current system which is one vote in Ohio is a thousand says and one vote in California is zero says.
