I am not in the Beatles cult, so I understand those that are - would think this.
In no way, would I say they didn't do anything good or important.
Hell yes they did, but that doesn't change the fact that 80% of what they did was filler-bubble gum garbage.

All I am saying is, at least, 80% of what they did do is bubble gum.
McCartney wrote a song about it even. Silly love Songs. The rest of the band began to hate them.

The Hollies, probably 60%-70% of what they did, early, was excellent.
With the Beatles it is more like 20% was excellent.

But the second half was outstanding

I know talented singers. They were just so-so. Perhaps one day you’ll become more sophisticated in judging singing talent.

Talented singers are the likes of Whitney Houston and Elvis Presley. You honestly can’t discern a difference?
