The DoJ was given forensic copies. The DoJ was able to track data exfiltration because they had access to a broader range of logs than CrowdStrike did and their analysis was the same, that the DNC was hacked by the GRU. The physical hardware is not particularly relevant and did not prevent the DoJ to finding enough evidence to prove it was Russians.

Roger Stone was requesting unredacted reports from CrowdStrike, which he had no reason to request in the first place, and the DoJ responded that they don't have unredacted reports. That didn't prevent the DoJ from finding proof that they were hacked by the GRU either.

CrowdStrike was right about Russians hacking Ukrainian artillery. The only error was saying how much of the artillery was affected. Not exactly as big of a scandal as you make it seem.


The alternate theory is that they were physically downloaded by someone on site has zero evidence to support such allegations as compared to the mountain of evidence that it was the GRU. Durham has not been able to identify anyone. Furthermore, Durham didn't even interview anyone in the Clinton campaign until 2 months after Sussmann was indicted.

The indictment against Sussmann is half baked. It purports to have evidence of a conspiracy, however it cannot tell us who is engaged in the conspiracy. Saying it wsa with "the Clinton campaign" is not sufficient. One cannot call the "Clinton campaign" to the stand as part of his defense. We need a name. Durham has none.

They were virtual machines which make the point about never physically examining the computers moot. Cloudstike never had the phyical machines either.
