I lived in a Muslim country for a couple years when I was a pre-teen (because of my Dad's job) and what you said about non-Muslims never being safe wasn't the case in our experience. In fact, they were hospitable and we never had a problem. Of course that was many years ago, and our foreign policy was different back then, so, it's probably very different now.

But anyway, my point was that people need to be careful anytime there's a major news story. We're living in a time of great deception, and the wise thing to do is question everything. Plus, propaganda is basically legal now, in the US.

Because recently I've been noticing some blatant inconsistencies, to the point of it being weird… Almost like it's intentional to see if people will say anything. Maybe it doesn't matter to you, but when politicians lie or flip flop, I don't turn a blind eye to it. The problem is too many people on this site are so extremely partisan that they get fooled, every time, out of a misguided hyperpartisan loyalty.

I think it's more about removing attention away from the fact that this was an islamic terrorist attack on American soil. Are you denying that hundreds on the terrorist watchlist have crossed the border in the last 4 years? It could have just as easily been one of them as the whacko who did it. How do you know that one of those illegally gaining access to the US didn't play a part in this guy becoming radicalized? You don't. So you'd rather the focus be on Trump's comments on the event than the actual event itself. That's what I see, especially coming from someone who has a history of making anti-Semitic remarks on this board. I don't turn a blind eye to that, I pay attention to what people say and have said, and look for ulterior motives for their words. You care more about Trump's comments than you do that an Islamic terrorist killed innocen people.

The FBI and New Orleans police no longer believe there are any other suspects involved in the New Year's truck attack on Bourbon Street that killed 15 people and injured dozens more, multiple law enforcement sources told ABC News.

After investigators reviewed all of the surveillance videos more closely, it appears that the suspect, 42-year-old Army veteran Shamsud-Din Jabbar, placed explosive devices in the area himself and then changed clothes. Those clothes were found in the vehicle, the sources said.

The FBI is still investigating whether there were individuals Jabbar spoke to or messaged with prior to the early Wednesday attack, but no one was in the vicinity to help him do anything, the sources said.
