He was evil. When Bull Connor was defeated in his election, the civil rights fervor was winding down. Elections were replacing hard line segregationists with reformers. The money was drying up. King and his friend James Bevel planned to put young children into the front lines of protests. Every one knew that Bull Connor was a madman. He would be gone in a few days and a reformer for civil rights would take his place. King and Bevel had to act fast. They put children into the front line facing Bull Connor, his dogs, clubs and fire hoses. Because using children for sympathy was so dangerous, Bevel said that King must get arrested. Up to this point, King escaped all action. King was arrested and spent just enough time behind bars to pen Letter from a Birmingham Jail.. needless to say the money started flowing again.I’m not seeing that he was evil, but he sure was an imposter.
He was evil and in hell right now.
