Actually, it has happened to me. While in the service I came back to the states and was put up in base temporary housing until I could be permanently assigned. My three roommates were black. We got along well and since I had a car and they didn't we did a lot of bar hopping etc. together. One night they asked me to take them to a bar they had heard of in a black area of the city. We were asked to leave because I was white. You can deny racism works both ways all you want, but you are wrong. I suppose you will come back saying I deserved it for all the years of oppression by whites, the the fact remains it is racism.

I have never seen or heard of a white person being harassed in a black bar or club, when I was stationed in Ft Leonardwood, MO there was places that were off limits to GI because of racism, the same when I was stationed in Louisiana. I never went anywhere that was off limits because black folks were racist towards whites.
