Dow headed for the worst April since the Great Depression

Gee, you learned how to cut/paste on the forum! I'm proud of you. Now you just need to learn how to link to reputable sources to support the senile nonsense you post.

You failed yet again. Your boys is falling and failing, and you are failing and failing.

And please link to reputable sources, too.

The Trump rout is taking on historic dimensions.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed almost 1,000 points on Monday and is headed for its worst April performance since 1932, according to Dow Jones Market Data. The S&P 500’s performance since Inauguration Day is now the worst for any president up to this point in data going back to 1928, according to Bespoke Investment Group.

Worries about trade restrictions and the prospect of President Trump firing Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell have investors bracing for greater losses ahead. Corporate earnings reports are rolling in, along with executives’ tariff-dented outlooks for the months ahead. Few think the administration’s negotiations with trade partners will yield results soon enough to ease the strain.

Meanwhile, counterweights that usually strengthen when stocks fall—such as government bonds and the U.S. dollar—are also under pressure, leaving investors with few havens to wait out the storm.

“It’s the hallmark of the ‘no confidence’ trade,” said Scott Ladner, chief investment officer at Horizon Investments. The Charlotte-based firm trimmed its U.S. equity position several weeks ago to favor more international stocks. “It’s impossible to commit capital to an economy that is unstable and unknowable because of policy structure.”

Because of Trump’s idiocy, we are no longer taking about recession but depression.

As most of us know who are not in the MAGA cult, Trump is stupendously inept and incompetent. The Trump Regime has caused chaos in this nation and around the world. Since Trump’s election our standing around the world has all but disintegrated.

It is time the nation realizes, as the markets increasingly realize, that Trump is an irrational actor.

The warning signs are everywhere. A stock market in free fall and a bond market on the verge of collapse.

Even the WSJ acknowledges this reality.
I laughed at this shit when everybody was predicting economic doom and gloom back in April. Now I'm really laughing. All. The. Way. To. The. Bank. I'm up 16% YTD in value and my income is about 12%.

Some how we must not be getting the truth,
as some think all is good, while others say we are in trouble
How could the thinking be SO divided?

Yet another badly aged "progressive" (IE Legacy Media brainwash) thread.

It's what happens when you can't think for yourself.

6 months on, and DOW is over 47,000 - as Democrat approval is in the abyss.

Oh well.

Some how we must not be getting the truth,
as some think all is good, while others say we are in trouble
How could the thinking be SO divided?

Because one side isn't thinking.

Newsflash: It's the side that just shut down the government to give health care to illegals.

Heh. I love going back and reading OPs like this. We hit 47,000 today.

"The Art of the Deal" Chapter 9.

In it he notes how operating a casino is a no brainer. How even an average business man can make good money and a great one can make a lot of money.

What did Trump do? He ran it into bankruptcy.

Just like he is now doing to the country.
Ouch. That didn't wear well.

Trump is running the nation like he ran Trump casino. He is running it into the ground except this time there is no “daddy Trump” to bail out the nation like Trump’s father did for his casino before it collapsed.
Ouch. What happened to that? 47,000 DJIA today.

15th post
It's just a symptom of the overall disease. Business are going to start going under. People are going to struggle big time.

All over Trump's ego.
Ouch. What happened to that?

It's billions of dollars in real value gone under this idiot President.

If you had actual money invested, you would see that. Like most Trump supporters, all this lost value means nothing to you, but it will when you start paying more for everything.
You will apologize for being wrong, right?

If you think people are freaking out over “nothing”, then you’re the one who is deranged.

The markets are down because faith and trust in the US economy has been harmed. It’s much easier to harm trust than to get it back.

This isn’t politics.
I assume you will now apologize for being wrong?

Remember how the Cult touted that 3,000 point gain, after the market losing 8,000, as some kind of Trump Heroic Thing.

Yea, I remember....read below.

I accept your apology. 3000 points in one day, crushing the modern record. The Comeback Kid does it again!

I trust you will apologize for ridiculing my post?
