Why don't police that enforce laws against the cartel also hide their identity?

Ice in particular though because this is right in the thick of the political rivalry wherein traitorous progressives will work hand in hand with foreign entities and criminal cartels to persecute those who are exporting their illicit voters. In effect you have members of our own Congress pulling the trigger on our law enforcement agents simply to stand power.

An ID badge with a number is sufficient for all law enforcement agents as far as I'm concerned.
