Republicans are wanting to cut Medicaid. Trump is telling them not to. What matters is who gets what to get a bill passed.

So, what lie? There are Republicans fighting to cut Medicaid.

Non citizens don't belong on medicare-medicade. In fact, if someone is brought here to work legally, their employer should be responsible for their medical coverage. Our debt was just downgraded. There is no reason to be paying for non citizens medical coverage, housing, schooling or nutrition.

States that expanded Medicaid with Halfrican Care are getting $9 in fed money to $1 in state contribution so those states stick everyone they can on Medicaid for that 9-1 windfall in fed money.

States that did not expand (like TX) get less than $2 from the feds for that same dollar spent.

If TX alone would join the blue states it would blow a 1 Trillion hole in the system.....That is what will happen if that 9-1 margin is not dealt with.

9 to 1? Regardless it is not a federal windfall for the states to blow elsewhere.... The fed money is only used for Medicaid expansion and is only used for Medicaid.

There are working poor who do not make enough money to qualify for healthcare on the ACA Exchange, and also make too much money to qualify for Medicaid....it was a gap of people who are poor, but qualify for nothing in assistance, while those who made more than them, could qualify for the ACA Exchange and help, and those who made less could get help with Medicaid....

This group of poor families had no healthcare help at all.

That is what the Medicaid Expansion did....it covered these poor families with healthcare that were originally left out of Obamacare and Medicaid, with no options.
