Trump secures release of American trapped in Saudi Arabia for years over online posts

Except I really didn't.

Griner was illegally arrested as political retaliation.

Saad Almadi went to Saudi Arabia and intentionally broke their laws against criticizing the Royal Family. It's not like he didn't know what the law was. Because he was a US Citizen, he actually got a lighter sentence.

Wow... your posts get more deranged every day.

The amount she had would have usually resulted in a fine, and she was invited as a guest.

the only reason why she was arrested was in response to Biden supporting Ukraine.
You have not provided us with any Russian statutes regarding medical Marijuana or the amount necessary for a fine only. Until you come up with proof of Russian laws you have nothing to say.

Read the article, dummy.
As always, you are full of shit. There is no information in the article about what the offense was or that it had, as you falsely claim, been corrected, but it is telling that the wife who is trying to get her husband released has refused interviews to discuss these issue with the press.

I don't do links.

Come on, guy, Russia is not arresting everyone who has a medical vape in his luggage. Griner was singled out because she was high-profile.

He didn't commit any offense. He was being held because he didn't file paperwork six years ago when his child was stillborn.

Did she have drugs? Yep.

Is that a crime in Russia? Yep.

I'm guessing you think she should get a pass cuz she is a black lesbian................oh, and high profile.

High profile! Before this no one ever heard of her.

So you claim, but the article you posted does not contain any information to substantiate what the offense was and his wife, who is the only source of information about this case has refused to discuss it with the press, so once again, as always, you are full of shit.

I did and that's why I can say you are full of shit, as always.
Well, clearly, you didn't understand it.

Let me help you out, because your reading comprehension is poor

Kasper Juul Eriksen, a 32-year-old welder legally in the country with a fifth child on the way, was detained by ICE during a citizenship appointment on April 15 because of a decade-old “paperwork miscommunication,” his wife said.

Savanah Eriksen said they were blindsided when they arrived in Memphis, Tennessee, at what they believed would be a routine interview in the “final stage of obtaining his permanent American citizenship.”

After driving three hours north from their home in Sturgis, Mississippi, Savannah said her husband was confronted by ICE agents who took him into custody and explained there was a paperwork error dating back to 2015. He was then taken to an ICE detention facility in rural Jena, Louisiana, where he remains today.

And as you now point out, there is nothing in the article about a still born child or when the alleged error took place or if any effort had been made to correct this alleged error, as you claim. So did you invent these "facts" or do they come from a source you are embarrassed to cite?

Nope, they were in other sources, but I'm not going to hunt and peck for them, that's a waste of time.

Google is your friend.

Incidently, the guy was a Trump supporter.

He was eventually released, but this sort of thing never should have happened to start with.
