Donald Trump to make gas cans great again

Negative, it's a much needed roll back of dem policy.

Working folks appreciate it and that is what your ilk fails to understand.

Manufacturers arent going to restart making old style cans knowing it all gets switched back in a few years.

No, it was never needed and no, it's not something people have been clamoring over.

It's often the little things that keep a party in good stead with the public.

Dems used to understand that. Now they don't and that's why they fail.

They fail for a ton of reasons few they have seemed to have learned from.

This is still little more than a diversion.

It's a welcome turn of events....He's just fixing what he unknowingly fucked up when he signed a massive spending bill in 2020.

Unlike dems he's learned from his mistakes.

But many modern designs are often infuriatingly ineffective at actually filling tanks because the vents work so poorly. Instead of stopping vapors from flowing out the complicated spouts and relief valves, instead frustrated users often cause gasoline spills, which some critics say are far worse than a tiny amount of vapor escaping from an older design.

When we had a few acres to mow I bought a new gas can because I thought it would be better and that my husband was just being cheep using old cans.
I never figured out how to use the spout on new can without spilling gas.
Oh yeah?
I have yet to figure out how to get gas out of the stupid things yet without tossing the spout and just using a funnel.

I do use the spouts on my 5 gallon and 2 gallon cans to keep them sealed while hauling or not using them. (Always ethanol free gas)

Chainsaws and weedeaters use 50-1 gas....I buy the premixed so they start easy every time. Much more expensive but so worth it. I'll get worn out pulling those cords and not even get a lick of work done yet.

Now, if Trump could stop the ethanol...and the subsidies for using ethanol in gas....

It would be a whole new world.

Why? Mixing is so easy. Around here, that is about 25 bucks a gallon for pre mix. You must be rich.

If you only knew how hated those gas cans were among people that had to use them on a regular basis...
I'd sell every "pre-ban" I'd find at yard sales and such. The working man hates the "safety" cans.

LOL....A few weeks back one of those real nice (and high dollar) metal safety gas cans fell off the back of one of Xfinity's work trucks in front of me.

I got out and set it on the median in case they came back for it.....That damn thing sat there for three days! I guess the town finally picked it up. Nobody wanted it.

Not sure if it was the same brand but it was like this one:

I remember using one of these when they first came out. About half the gas went on the ground.

Is it only me who sees the contradiction in skyrocketing beef prices as a result of supposed lower energy costs?
Steers dont grow up instantly Biden had 4 years to increase energy costs

No....
If I try to mix....
First I gotta get ethanol free gas. I do that already for lawnmower....no problem there.

But for whatever reason, if I use stuff I mix myself and I'll be danged if I can get it started again next time after using a gallon. It never works out better. Cheaper? Of course. But definitely not better.

I'll have to go through a carb job and replace the spark plug if I use stuff I mix. If I use pre-mix I just fire it up. No carb cleaning, no new spark plug....it fires up like it's brand new...except it's 3 years old. ( 1.3 acre property)

Yes, it's more expensive....yes, not something I enjoy paying. But....I'm old...get distracted....and carburetor jobs and new plugs? Uggghhhh....boring and useless just to save $10/gallon. (About 2 gallons a year) That's worth every bit of $20 and more to me every year.

Husband mixes his own and I always had trouble starting stuff. We have smaller yard now so he got me ryobi cordless stuff.
