I almost wasn't allowed to enlist because of almost-flat feet. Ten years into my career, I got prescribed a CPAP machine. Didn't have apnea, just snored a lot. I never got the machine. Merely having the prescription was enough to get me medically boarded and discharged. Luckily, the base I was at had an ENT surgeon who reamed out my airway and obviated the need for the CPAP.Most trans do not have sex change operations, aside from getting breasts or having them removed. They do get constant hormone therapy though. Why would any of this matter if they're willing to serve and they are qualified?
Relatively minor issues. Far more minor than trans' issues.
