Most trans do not have sex change operations, aside from getting breasts or having them removed. They do get constant hormone therapy though. Why would any of this matter if they're willing to serve and they are qualified?

I almost wasn't allowed to enlist because of almost-flat feet. Ten years into my career, I got prescribed a CPAP machine. Didn't have apnea, just snored a lot. I never got the machine. Merely having the prescription was enough to get me medically boarded and discharged. Luckily, the base I was at had an ENT surgeon who reamed out my airway and obviated the need for the CPAP.

Relatively minor issues. Far more minor than trans' issues.

Tricare doesn't pay for tranie surgeries. Only hormone therapy.

Any surgery would have to be approved. It is easy to accrue sick time in the military and they are generous with it. A friend of mine got paid for 3 months off before he got out of the service. No one would schedule an elective surgery without lots of planning. No one enters this lightly. FYI , the penis is not cut off. The vascular bundle ( corpus cavernosum ) which allows a man to get hard is removed and the penis is turned inside out and shoved back up into that space. Also thought you'd like to know all people start out as female. From fertilization to about 6 weeks the fetus is female. If the fetus receives a dose of testosterone it will never a male. The ingrowing vagina simply pushes out. So pushing it back in isn't that big a deal. I still wouldn't care to do it.

There is no sick leave in the military that you earn. You earn 30 days annual leave a year, regardless of rank, regardless of time in service.

If your doctor decides you need to be off work to recover, he gives you a profile which says how much time off you're given.

You are mistaken. Accrual rates: All full-time employees , regardless of their length of service , earn 4 hours of sick leave for each full biweekly pay period.

I didn't ask him if he was in the military. He simply worked at the base , that's possible. Do civilians also sign up for certain timelines of service ? That's how he refered to it. He has accrued 3 months of sick leave.

From the time the egg is fertilized up until the fetus is about 6 weeks old we are all female. At six weeks if there is an extra dose of testosterone given to the fetus , then and only then it becomes a male. What was inside now starts to come to the outside.
