Donald Trump, The Former President Of The U.S., Can Only Get 51% Of The Vote From His Own Party In Iowa

Reagan wasn't a former president in 1980. The fact that Trump could only get 51% of the vote from Republicans as a former President is a very bad sign for him.
You’re sort of burying the lead a little bit.

Anything can happen, of course, but he’s been campaigning for 3 years. Biden has barely started. And some polls have them even. You’d have to think that he should be further ahead if his message was resonating outside of the echo chamber. Last evening’s results may have been another data point in that larger truth.

Or it could be the beginning of an avalanche that will bury the Democrats.

Resluts of the Iowa Caucus.

49% of Registered Republicans did not vote.

P01135809 - 58,260 (51%).

Death Sentence - 23,420 (21.2%)

Haley - 21,085 - (19.1%)

Percentage of Republicans who did not vote for P01135809 - 89.3%.

P01135809 DID NOT DO THAT WELL. a giant....bigley giant number of Iowa Republicans did not cast their vote the Orange Shit Gibbon. He may have won, but his support among Republicans in Iowa is very weak.
You are offering incongruous therefore fake stats
People who did not vote simply did not. You try to fake and lie that into votes Against Trump

Why shouldn't they get their hopes up? In their disturbed minds, they CAN'T lose. In their psychosis, either they win and they election was fair or they lose and the election was rigged and stolen from them.
Good point. I stand corrected.

You are correct...in their fantasy MAGA world, it's impossible for them to lose. Why even bother with the election in November?

He was the incumbant that year, retard. Real candidates dont compete with the incumbent, only weirdos that no one has ever heard of.
He is the Republican incumbent NOW, moron. He was the Repug president a mere 3 years ago. And yet he can only garner 51% of the vote.

If he was a strong candidate, then Haley and DeSantis would not even be on the ballot. Just like Trump ran virtually unopposed in 2020.

Nostra, ain't that the fking truth. Holy fk are these demofks brain dead. They can't follow a bouncing ball I tell you.
Don't forget to give each other comforting hand jobs when Trump loses again in November.

That is what incumbents do.

That is what incumbents do.
Right. Because incumbents are usually considered strong candidates.

If Trump was a strong candidate, then he would be running unopposed.

Obama in 2008 had only 32%, and only a 7% lead over second place.

Joe Biden in 2020 was in 4th place in the Iowa Caucus with a meager 15.8% of the vote.

Trump in 2024 got 51% of the vote, and he was 30% higher than second place.

Could you explain why Trump doing WAY the **** better than them is somehow a bad sign? Your entire position is really strange.

Poor Dumbfuck. You lose every time. 12.8% is not the record...

Turnout was low in these caucuses compared to the record-setting 2016 turnout. Only about 110,000 Republicans caucused

That represents less than 15% of the total number of registered Republicans in the state — perhaps not surprising in the record cold. But Trump got almost 900,000 votes in Iowa in 2020.

So perhaps those 800,000 who didn't caucus for Trump yesterday aren't going to vote for him in November?

So only 15% of Republicans showed up yesterday. That's a record alright. Record low.

Of the 100,000 who showed up yesterday,
  • Just 3 in 10 said they believed Joe Biden was legitimately elected.
Trump got 51% of the vote. So even some of Nikki and Ron's voters are dumb ***** who also believe the election was stolen.

70,000 nazi nutjobs in Iowa.

Right. Because incumbents are usually considered strong candidates.

Is he the strongest candidate? Enough said.

In the Republican primaries but not in the General Election. Remember only 100K people showed up to vote yesterday. 800,000 voted for Trump in 2016. So Trump's insane voters showed up yesterday more than Haley's and Ron's. What about the 700,000 who stayed home? I think a lot of them won't be voting for Trump again. They didn't show up yesterday what makes you think they'll vote for the criminal in November?

Are you saying that only Trump voters were motivated enough to brave the winter conditions in Iowa? Thats a really good sign for Trump, right? That kinda seems like that the logical conclusion to your position here. :dunno:

Obama didnt run unopposed in 2012. A bunch of democrats ran against him. :dunno:
Liar

As the incumbent president, Obama secured the Democratic nomination without serious opposition. The Republicans experienced a competitive primary. Romney was consistently competitive in the polls and won the support of many party leaders, but he faced challenges from a number of more conservative contenders. Romney secured his party's nomination in May, defeating former senator Rick Santorum, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, and Texas congressman Ron Paul, among other candidates.

Interesting you guys give Newt credit for Clinton's success but you didn't nominate him for President. Why? And did you know the GOP screwed Ron Paul like the Democrats screwed Bernie Sanders over?

2/3 of Dimwingers don't want Tater to run.

OUCH!
