Trump fundraising agreement prioritizes payments to PAC covering legal fees before RNC

BY BRETT SAMUELS - 03/21/24 7:29 PM ET

Former President Trump’s new joint fundraising agreement with the Republican National Committee (RNC) will send donations to his campaign and a political action committee covering his legal bills before they go toward the party itself.

The arrangement means Republican donors may see a portion of their money go toward helping Trump pay off his exorbitant legal bills before they are used for the national party and state parties for election season.

As if a billionaire with a supermodel wife needs more money. :laughing0301:

“The final key to the way I promote is bravado. I play to people’s fantasies. People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That’s why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthful hyperbole. It’s an innocent form of exaggeration—and a very effective form of promotion.” ~ DJT

oh- i'm sure melania - the 3rd wife that he cheated on ... bigley ... has an iron clad pre-nup.

Circling the drain, people cheering, people donating....

That means nothing to me. Bush is a RINO, a Never-Trumper, and a friend and enabler of the fascist Democrats.

in other words not in the cult.

"I don't need anybody's money," he said as he announced his candidacy in June. "I'm using my own money. I'm not using the lobbyists. I'm not using donors. I don't care. I'm really rich."

yep - & i when you went to the site - there was a big ol' red DONATION button.

& there's this little scam:

Amid Investigations, Trump PAC Still Using Prechecked Recurring Donation Boxes

I’m a staff writer at Forbes, reporting on money and politics.

On Tuesday, an email from a Trump political committee provided potential donors with the opportunity to increase their impact by 400% in the fight to "save America from Joe Biden and his socialist allies."

But a closer look at the fine print suggests that it may have been the donors who’d be on the hook for multiplying their gift's impact—unless they unchecked boxes that'd already been ticked to make their contribution recur.

Exactly as it should be.

They're going to have to kill him, and they probably will. They have their CIA and FBI employees working on that now; they will fake some evidence, arrest him, and like Epstein he will die mysteriously in a high security cell by himself.

The Brits badgered UK betting shops for odds because they know how crazy American Lefties are -

And it's not as though I think the Trump campaign would lie about its finances to the media.

No way.

Not a chance.

Exactly as it should be.

why would a so called billionaire have the working man pay for his fuck ups? & all that cash funneling straight to his lawyer's veins leaves very little for the house seats & senate seats - both local & congressional ... & mayor gigs, & governorships for yer side of that there isle. hear that? i hear a flip in the house & a flip in the senate easy if there's no cash heading yer way.

This may not be a positive outcome. You don't want leaders beholden to donors.

If they are simply patriotic Americans who want to see their nation support, fine. I'm a little too jaded to believe that though.
All of these donors know that this is Trump's last election Bid.
I think with most of them are looking for is what they already know Trump will do as far as clearing up the obstacles to business development and opening up the economy in a real sense not the phony baloney government report sense that we're being subjected to now.
