That's definitely a symbol of what many think of "liberals", they simply don't learn from the past.

This is because they allow others to do their thinking for them, and don't have the guts to confront their past mistakes.

Excuse from some Republicans who voted against his conviction in the second impeachment was that our legal system is perfectly capable in holding him accountable....well it turned out it wasn't and those ongoing criminal cases against Trump were halted for a very political reason of him winning an election.

Another excuse was that at the time of the impeachment Trump already left office so impeachment is moot.

Now all those excuses were conclusively proven false, so the case for impeachment could not be more clear.
