Doing well while doing good is the capitalistic ideal. Elon Musk exemplifies that. He introduced his EV's amid clamorous derision. Now they are the standard that all most all other auto manufactures are trying to emulate. But they are about five years behind. And the Tesla's are making a real profit now, and production is increasing every quarter, as is profit;

What happens to the power grid when many millions of EVs are charging overnight? What do you do with the many millions of old battery cores?
You use the power that would normally be shut down for lack of need to charge the vehicles. And for those with their own homes, home solar with batteries can take care of that. Old battery cores by percentage of valuable metals would be considered bonanza grade ore. They are already being recycled. And with the various battery companies hungry for those metals, there will be competition to get the recycling companies in production.

Marx used the exact same model for socialism.

EV's are a wonderful example of the stupidity of "Conservatives". Ever since Tesla started selling EV's you fellows have been stating that it will go bankrupt next year. Now Musk has two giga factories in production, two more nearing production, and a couple more in planning stages. Virtually every auto manufacturer is planning to have, or already has, EV's in production, though only the Chinese rival Tesla in the number of EV's being produced. And still you fellows spew the nonsense about Tesla going bankrupt. By 2025, Tesla will be a major industrial player in autos, power storage, solar installation, and may be the first major distributed utility. And you fellows will still be standing in the dust, declaring Tesla will be bankrupt next year.

Amazing what happens when you're a corporate welfare whore, who gets bazillions in subsidies.

That will change rapidly as the EV's become the dominant vehicles in sales.
What about all the poor folks and middle class folks who need to purchase used cars for really cheap?

I don't see these cars ever being offered on the after market/late models, for really cheap, and folks can't repair them in their garages.

I really don't think you understand how the poor get by.

They buy used cars, usually under a couple grand, and then hit RockAuto, get parts super cheap, and do the repairs themselves to keep old cars running.

What I see of EV cars, they are really expensive, last forever, and are really costly to maintain.

He has, you're just too stupid to understand. Venezuela is your model. Move there.
Nope. My models are Denmark, Norway, Canada, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, and other successful democratic socialist nations where capitalism is doing well, and the citizens are also doing well.
