DOGE Is Uncovering The Government Corruption America’s Media Spent Years Ignoring

DOGE has done more to unearth government corruption in one month than corporate media ‘journalists’ have done in years.

For an industry that fashions its participants as diligent truth-seekers dedicated to uprooting government corruption, America’s legacy media has once again shown itself to be its biggest defender.
The latest case study of this phenomenon came on Tuesday during an executive order signing ceremony featuring X owner Elon Musk, who President Donald Trump tasked with leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The president’s newly signed directive lays out guidance for DOGE and the administration in “eliminating waste, bloat, and insularity” within the federal bureaucracy.
When the time came to field questions from the press, the media wasted no time in fomenting Democrats’ baseless conspiracy that Musk’s efforts to identify and remove waste from the federal government represent an unprecedented and authoritarian coup against the United States. In one particular exchange, a left-wing activist masquerading as a White House reporter asked the DOGE leader what his response is to “criticism” from his “detractors … including a lot of Democrats … [who] say that [he’s] orchestrating a hostile takeover of government and doing it in a non-transparent way.”
Musk responded to the non-question by noting how “a majority of the public” gave the administration a “strong[] mandate” to root out government waste when they elected Trump and gave Republicans control of Congress. He additionally highlighted how Trump made no secret about his plans to undertake such actions during the 2024 campaign.
“The people voted for major government reform. There should be no doubt about that. That was on the campaign. The president spoke about that at every rally,” Musk said. “The people voted for major government reform, and that’s what the people are going to get.”

Much of the waste and abuse of taxpayer money that’s being exposed by the government watchdog is easily discoverable. As The Federalist’s Beth Brelje recently observed, “A lot of this information has been readily available on the government spending website USAspending.gov, which was spurred to life in 2006 in part through the efforts of Federalist CEO and Co-Founder Sean Davis.”

Whether it was pushing the Russia collusion hoax or participating in the Hunter Biden laptop cover-up, the press have happily acted as mouthpieces for Democrats and unelected leftist bureaucrats seeking to undermine Trump and the will of the people. At every turn, the truth has taken a backseat to the Democrat Party agenda, allowing bureaucratic corruption to continue unabated.
The media’s sudden interest in “transparency” over DOGE has nothing to do with holding officials accountable or keeping the public informed. It has everything to do with upholding the status quo they’ve spent decades protecting, and they will say or do anything to keep it.

Commentary:
Well, for four years the Biden administration pledged transparencyand the pub;iv saw litle if and coming from the White House.
However, despite all the media hype, Trump has held more open transparent interviews with the media than Joey B. did in his four years of driving America into the ground.
Trump's creation of DOGE and appoint Elon Musk to carry it out is brilliant. Most of all DOGE has and will uncover more agency and Democrat corruption each day that passes.
This what a free press would have done decades ago had they been honest unbiased and equally handed in their "journalism"
Think of it. Had Kamaltoe won the election we wouldn’t ever had known about ANY of this agency incompetence, corruption and the crimes would continue until one day she would hold a press conference to announce that the US was bankrupt and the government was taken over by China because we couldn't pay our debts.

I don't know if it is ignoring. The media are just part of the corruption.

One of the latest objections by dimocrap scum to OMB and Elon shutting down the corruption is --

'WELL! CONGRESS AUTHORIZED THE MONEY AND OMB DOESN'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO NOT SPEND IT!!!!!

Congress also authorizes the money to fund Wars. So, if we're in a War and the enemy surrenders........ And we haven't spent all the money Congress authorized for the Military......

dimocraps want us to keep killing people until we run out of bombs, artillery and bullets??

A bit of a stretch but that seems to be their logic. I'd rather take that money and help Veterans. Because we know how very much dimocrap scum love Veterans. :auiqs.jpg:

When you think about it, dimocraps are seriously stupid and incredibly dishonest

Probably the richest man himself is a problem. Now I don't trust Elon Musk. I don't want to kiss Musk's ass; I'm not his pet, and he didn't feed me. I disagreed :)

👉 Recent reports from various media outlets, including NPR, Politico, and The Associated Press, highlight the ongoing controversies and legal challenges surrounding the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and its actions. Here are some key details:

## Key Developments Surrounding DOGE

1. Access to Sensitive Data: DOGE has been granted access to the Treasury Department's central payment system, which handles a vast amount of sensitive personal data. This has raised significant concerns among critics, including 19 states that have filed lawsuits against the Trump administration to halt DOGE's access, citing potential violations of federal law and privacy issues[3].

2. Cancellation of Media Subscriptions: Following misleading claims linking Politico to USAID, the White House announced the cancellation of subscriptions to certain media outlets, including Politico and The New York Times. This decision was part of a broader initiative to scrutinize government spending on media subscriptions[8].

3. Legal Challenges: DOGE faces numerous lawsuits from labor unions and advocacy groups concerned about its legality and the implications of its actions. These lawsuits challenge DOGE's authority to access sensitive payment systems and have resulted in temporary restrictions on personnel access within the Treasury[5][6].

4. Controversial Leadership: Elon Musk leads DOGE, which has drawn criticism for its lack of transparency and potential overreach. Critics have described DOGE as an "unlawfully constituted band of renegade tech bros" accessing confidential records without clear legal authority[3][6].

5. Public Response: Musk has publicly defended DOGE's actions on social media, claiming that it is saving taxpayers millions by identifying wasteful spending. However, this has been met with skepticism from various quarters, including legal experts who question the constitutionality of DOGE's operations[5][6].

These developments illustrate the contentious nature of DOGE's initiatives and the significant pushback it faces from various stakeholders concerned about government oversight and accountability.

👉 DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) has been involved in significant actions against the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), primarily aimed at halting its funding and restructuring the agency. Here are the key points regarding DOGE's involvement with USAID:

## Key Actions and Developments

1. Halting Payments: DOGE sought access to the Treasury Department's payment system to stop disbursements to USAID. This initiative was part of a broader effort to scrutinize and potentially eliminate what DOGE considers wasteful spending within federal agencies, particularly targeting USAID's humanitarian assistance programs[1].

2. Staff Reductions: DOGE has reportedly placed a majority of USAID staff on administrative leave, affecting around 10,000 employees globally. This drastic measure has raised legal questions, as USAID was established by Congress to manage U.S. foreign assistance[2][4].

3. Access to Sensitive Systems: There were attempts by DOGE representatives to access secure systems within USAID, including personnel files and classified information. This led to tensions with USAID security officials, who were placed on administrative leave for denying access[3][5].

4. Criticism from Leadership: Elon Musk and other DOGE officials have publicly criticized USAID, labeling it a "criminal organization" and claiming it is mismanaged. Musk has expressed intentions to dismantle the agency, which has historically received bipartisan support for its humanitarian efforts[4][6].

5. Legal Challenges: The actions taken by DOGE have prompted lawsuits from federal employee unions and advocacy groups, arguing that the Trump administration lacks the authority to shut down an agency created by congressional legislation[8].

These developments illustrate DOGE's aggressive stance toward USAID, aiming to reshape or potentially eliminate its functions amidst broader discussions about federal spending and efficiency.

Yeah? So?

Are you claiming that the reported 100s of millions of ridiculous spending by USAID are false, or just this condom story? Who knows how much of the several hundred million dollar package sent to Gaza went to condoms or ended up in the hands of Hamas. Do you seriously believe there isn’t massive waste and fraud in USAID? You haven’t figured out that these mainstream media outlets aren’t going to out their golden goose? They hate DOGE because they are largely supported by these wasteful spending programs.

Yes, they are false and misleading misrepresentations of the work of this agency. USAID provided humanitarian and good publicity for the American people in parts of the world where all too often, contact with first world nations has been exploitative. Unlike Trump's "shithole countries" remarks which drove African nations into the arms of the Chinese and Russians, USAID saved lives, providing medical care, food in famine areas, and other assistance to the poorest of the poor - which often gets sidetracked to the black market. And the Americans on the ground often get information from the locals which helps US foreign interests in these nations.

Musk's beef with USAID is twofold:

1. The agency funded black anti-apartheid groups in South Africa; and
2. USAID was investigating Starlink's contracts with the Ukrainian government.

Since Trump and Musk have labelled USAID a "criminal terrorized organization", Russian satellite dictators are demanding the names of the NGO's in their countries who received funding from USAID or has connections with the agency, in order to prosecute anyone connected to the agency. The Republic of Georgia has asked for names, as has Viktor Orban.

The food aid sent to Africa and currently rotting there, was purchased from American farmers, so they've lost sources of income as well.

People are already dying because the USAID hospitals have closed.

Still no significant numbers produced and verified in regard to Musk's 'criminal organisation', USAID.

Musk is known to be often incorrect. He flat out lies, too.

Nearly as much as Chump, though that's an extremely high bar, give the man a break.

The Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) is an identification code linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (standard financial process). In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible. As of Saturday, this is now a required field, increasing insight into where money is actually going. Thanks to

They didn’t hold press conferences when people couldn’t pay their rent.
They didn’t hold press conferences when people couldn’t afford gas and groceries.
They didn’t hold press conferences when Venezuelan drug gangs took over the entire apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado .
They didn’t hold press conferences when there was no aid to North Carolina and people were suffering.
They didn’t hold press conferences when the train derailed in East Palestine, Ohio and American citizens were crying because they were afraid they were living in contaminated areas.
They didn’t hold press conferences when they pulled out of Afghanistan and cost 13 young service members their live lives.
They didn’t hold press conferences when they left $8 billion worth of military grade equipment to the Taliban .
They didn’t hold press conferences when parents were begging schools to be reopened because their children were suffering .
They didn’t hold press conferences when they lied to you about inflation for four years after they printed 40% of the dollars that are currently in circulation during the Biden years.
But now Democrats are outraged and crying crocodile tears because somebody got a hold of their slush fund of wacko liberal new world order CIA cut out money.
Now they are on the street having a breakdown because they got caught using $70 billion dollars a year for the benefit of getting reelected, funding pet projects overseas and censoring the American people.
These people hate you, stop voting for them.
