Does winning the popular vote in addition to the EC and the Senate mean a MANDATE from the PEOPLE?

Isn't it cute, a member who joined in 2011, saying what we said in 2008?
This dishonesty is just what got them their beat down . Being non thinkers they can’t comprehend that and are continuing on with the same . . Its called zealotry

He didn't get 4 million more votes... that number will probably be less than 2 million when all the California votes are counted.

Not a red wave and certainly not a mandate.

Obama had a mandate, but you guys opposed everything he tried to do.
Bitchslapping = MANDATE!

except they didn't win by much, and this was more frustration about inflation than people really wanting to embrace fascism.
I thought the election was about abortion, Simp.

So what were you saying about Obama in 2008, or 2012. I'm assuming you existed before 2014.

I thought you KNEW what I was saying in 2008. Now you're asking? Which is it?

Just dig your hole deeper and deeper, it's something we really enjoy watching.

Trump won the EC by a wide margin as well as the popular vote Republicans took control of the Senate and have a good shot at keeping control of the House albeit by a small margin. I think most objective people would call that a mandate.

Only if you are a complete fucking retard.

A mandate is what Obama had in 2008, but you guys fought him tooth and nail.

Trump barely won because Democrats tripped over their own feet.

Buyer's Remorse will soon set in.

By 2026, people will be so sick of Trump and his nonsense that you'll see a blue wave. Think 2006 after people got fed up Bush's nonsense.

They were clearly fed up with the Democrat's nonsense.

Buyer's Remorse will soon set in.

Only if you are an illegal. For the rest of us, we will love lower prices and a more stable economy.

You don't even realize that it will help you. That is what is so funny.

I did notice that Trump gained quite a few more votes in Illinois and even it far-left Chicago. Maybe there is even hope for the nuts there, but I won't hold my breath.

Got any posts?

Oh go fuck yourself you blind partisan hack if this was reversed and Harris had these numbers you and ever other liberal hypocrite on this board would be calling it a mandate and you know though none of you are honest enough to admit. Here is a shock to the system for you, you would be right of course the conservative versions of you would be responding just as you are the blind partisans are some of the most predictable people out there.

Not sure how you can say that.

His tariffs are going to wreak havoc with pricing. If he manages to put a dent in undocumented immigrants, food is going to be more expensive because there won't be people to process it.

You don't even realize that it will help you. That is what is so funny.

Probably because every time a Republican has stained the White House, we've had a recession. Recessions don't help anyone.

Actually, he really didn't.

Trump's total vote count in IL in 2020 was 2,446,891
His total vote count in IL in 2024 was 2,412,235

Harris got a lot less votes than Biden did, but Trump didn't improve his vote totals.

Guy, Trump's percentage just dropped to 50.3. There are 4 million more votes to count in CA, so it's fairly probable that his total will drop below 50% when all the votes are counted.

This is not a mandate. This is a guy who barely crawled over a hobbled opponent.

Electoral says mandate and that’s how you win

Trump's first hundred days will be mostly spent overturning dumb Biden EO's.

We will have to see if we get the House to see if we can expect any real legislative agenda.
Most of Biden's EOs being overturned have already been drafted and are ready for signature on the afternoon of January 20th.

Good point. I may have been a bit brief.

More likely it's going to be getting them implemented through a hostile bureaucracy that will be the issue.
