Does winning the popular vote in addition to the EC and the Senate mean a MANDATE from the PEOPLE?

Funny, you guys didn't think that when Obama won.
Sure we did. We make rules and abide by them. You do neither
Plus dumb and deflective to bring up 15+ years ago
Stay on topic

Pelosi said 2020 was a MANDATE, so clearly this is a full rebuke of the current admin and a FULL MANDATE.

Winning the popular vote was huge for Trump.

The left are out of excuses. Now they will just claim racism…by the blacks and hispanics that voted Trump?

POPULAR VOTE CRUSH! WOW!
Yep

Don't get cocky. Voters voted in Trump in 2016 and those same voters voted him out in 2020. Mandates are not forever.

Who said it was forever?

Quite me.

Look at a 1984 electoral map.

The lefty cult fucks are the ones who thought they had a forever mandate in 2020.

Pipe down, Skippy.

There can be no claim of a mandate when so many (most?) voters are simply voting "against" the other side. As long as lesser-of-two-evils is the guiding principle for voters, their votes can't be taken as a mandate.

There are so few Republicans voting against Trump against the huge number of Democrats that voted against Harris. The fact that Harris did not improve over Biden in a single county in the US is mandate enough. Harris lost bigly everywhere compared to what Biden had 4 years ago.

No, it just shows that people were apathetic to a candidate they weren't invested in because she was a last minute replacement.

Trump didn't really improve his vote totals over 2020. He got 74 million in 2020 and 75 million in 2024.

Harris, by contrast, got 8 million less votes than Biden did, but that is probably more in line with people not caring or being invested.

The election was complete domination by Trump :) I know it’s hard for the liberals to understand as they continue to wipe away the tears since election night. But Trump kicked yours and your parties ass. The quicker sane Democrats come to terms with that, is when the party can start moving away from the far left and get back to winning.
