Zone1 Does This Sign Refer to Diversity and Inclusion?

Why would you ask? Are you that insecure? I'm a white guy, and don't care about stripes on a pride flag, and never have. To tell the truth, I didn't even realize there was a pride flag in the picture, if it was there.

The pretense is that the rainbow is about "inclusion" of everyone.

BUT, it's not. The REALITY of the situation is that it is a POLITICAL ALLIANCE, and it is supposed to be.

A LEFTY political alliance, against WHITE MEN and the supposed power structure that we have, at least in the mind of radical lefties.

That's not nothing. That's a serious issue. You try to act like it's nothing, that I am insecure to even discuss it, but this is political indoctrination of our young, is a school using taxpayer money and the authority we grant schools over our young, authority backed by law and hidden behind layers of secrecy supposedly because of protecting children.

I want the schools to be about educating our children, and if there is to be any indoctrination, have it be more of the BE GOOD CITIZENS, not HATE WHITE MEN type.

Or is it just to be taken literally that everybody truly is welcome? I'm pretty sure that it's about diversity and inclusion and the teacher knew exactly what she was doing when she put it up on her classroom wall.

OhPleaseJustQuit, JGalt, toobfreak, Blaster, Rambunctious, LA RAM FAN, what do you and other people on here think?

You approve of white supremacism that much is clear. The poster, like all visual art is of course interpreted and your interpretation is that of a white supremacist, fear of non-whites, reluctant to welcome non-whites.

Children are not bigots until they are taught to be, they interpret it with innocence and the different shades and sizes of the hands reflects their own class with it's diverse mix of children. You expect children to share your racism and bigotry, you want to subliminally teach the white kids to be bigots.

The universe represented by that poster is the school "here" refers to the school and the "everyone" refers to the different skin colors and sizes, just like a real classroom children have differing ages/heights and skin tones.

The fascist must politicize everything, especially magats who rely on fomenting fear and distrust, paranoia is the bedrock of maga.

Trump's magats are eager to say stuff like "leave the kids alone" yet here you are not leaving them alone.

Let me ask Road Runner if you'd like ban the movie Billy Elliot? would you like to impose your fascist ideas young minds by restricting or banning that kind of film?

The West Ada School District Superintendent's email address is online.

Let him know how you feel?

This is where magats would like us to go, one step at a time and an early step is the forced removal of posters like that depicted in the OP. The Nazis too would not tolerate the "everyone welcome" poster, magats would have been right at home I think.

I would say, yes, she knows exactly what she is doing, and thus why they are both done in the colors of the rainbow. OBVIOUSLY someone is making these for that reason.

Looking at the actual school code, It indeed says no signs about race.
And I like that rule. There shouldn't be signs about race in schools.

Not quite - in the animal world there is no Racism, but simply a herd-instinct that ensures or enhances survival.
Early humans have transformed/developed this Herd-instinct some 10,000? years ago into a Race, or ethnic-instinct.

Therefore the question would be, if a today's Racist got stuck in the ongoing process of human evolution some 10,000 years ago :smoke:
Hey not me! - I just can't stand Bantus and Indians.
The Feral Races Are Evolution's Sore Losers

What does "about race" mean?

Is the statement "Most slaves in the United States were forcibly brought here from Africa" about race or about history? and would you object to a teacher saying it?

Indecent Exposure
We had that (at my Hudson Valley, NY school, anyway) back in the 70's and 80's. I had white, black, Hispanic and Asian kids around me. Even some who were clearly beginning to identify as gay. This was never a big problem for most. Bullies were eventually death with, but there was no bigot cat trying to get out of the bag. And we had NONE of these Nazi rainbow banner inclusion campaigns we have today. That is causing more trouble now than I ever experienced in school. If a school has zero tolerance for bullying, there need not be all this Alphabet soup with rainbow pasta talk.

She is absolutely right to say all are welcome in her classroom.

I want all teachers to feel that way.

A guy taught at our school who said he was tired of the n-words at the school, and he was amazed another teacher knocked him down in the teacher's lounge. He kept him on the floor and called the PD who sent a couple officers over, one white and one black. The four of them held a meeting behind close doors without witnesses. No charges were filed, both teachers kept their jobs, and the big mouth kept his head.

Saying that wouldn't break the schools policy.
Why do you think it would?

The pride movement is a political alliance, a lefty one.

Thus, any pusing of it in the classsroom, to children, with taxpayer expense, is a serious violation of the purpose of the public schools.

The teacher should be fired and blackballed from any teaching job for the rest of her life.

Yes, she has violated school policies.

The other problem might be the subtle message she is sending that the majority of people in this country are brown and that whites are a slim minority.
