The teacher's message clearly leans towards the DEI/LGBTQ messaging but it is way more subtle and less offensive than some of the signage I've seen. It's not nearly as offensive as a drag queen reading a book to Kindergartners or the current LGBTQ-Pedo flag that some classrooms promote.

As for the removal of the sign? I probably wouldn't have forced her to take it down but if the school has certain policies about signage and they felt that she overstepped her bounds then they have a right to have her remove them. We all have rules to follow in life. Sometimes you don't like them but you follow them anyway.

Diversity and inclusion are good things. All children should be exposed to them.
