The GOP should just use Rand Paul's bill which is everything the people voted for. The GOP should have also been working on a bill since November 9th so it could be ready to sign in the first week at least.

If the GOP doesn't get premiums down by next year or at least have people start signing up for cheaper plans for 2019 then the GOP will at the very least will loose ground in the Congress, but if they can have something to show the people they represent they could get a super majority

Harley I lived it.... My husband is an attorney , we have our own small business. When I got sick 5 years ago , we were just about kicked off insurance because we renew every year. They found any which way to now enroll you.

I am too young for Medicare, but I am able to get on it for disabilities so I will be ok..But...Millions will not be ok..

What I saw is the premium for my PPO plan with a modest $1000 deductible become so high that I had to take a High deductible plan, with an HSA that made some of the deductible up, but not all of it. I have seen even that plan get less and less flexible, and more of my own $$ coming out of pocket, or potentially out of pocket. All of this because more high risk people are put in the same pool as me, and my premiums have to cover the losses seen by the insurance companies because of this.

The other reason why companies have to push high deductible plans is the low deductible plans will be considered "Cadillac" under Obamacare, and become even more expensive due to taxes.

Meanwhile while my premiums go up and my deductibles go up, other people get help from the government, using my tax dollars, while I get ******* zip.
