I saw this video and thought that it brings out alot of the evidence of God having a body from scripture. The greatest evidence is that Jesus was resurrected with an immortal body. One must ask if the Father has no need of a body, then why would Jesus resurrect with a body of flesh and bones?

Jesus will rule a restored earth he needs a body for that.

Let's see. He walked in the garden with Adam and Eve, so we know he has feet. He sat around the campfire with Abraham, so we know He has bendable knees and a rear end. He ate stew, so we know he has a mouth, tongue, esophagus. He heard Sarah laugh, so He has ears. He spoke so we know He has lungs and vocal chords. He dances and sings over us from Heaven:

Zeph,3:17 ADONAI your God is in your midst— a mighty Savior! He will delight over you with joy. He will quiet you with His love. He will dance for joy over you with singing

Jesus had to come here as a human to fulfill Jewish Law. He is our kinsman redeemer. He had to be related to Adam.
And He is coming back in His glorified body with all the others in Christ, in their glorified bodies to take up permanent residency here, on earth. Even God is moving here:

Rev.21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.

After Jesus was resurrected with his immortal resurrected body, Paul to the Hebrews wrote the following:

Hebrews 1:1-3
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

If Jesus is the EXPRESS image of the person of the Father and Jesus having an immortal resurrected body, would not this mean that the Father himself has an immortal resurrected body as well since Jesus is the express image of the Father?

the word express has the following meaning when used as an adjective to describe something from dictionary.com:

duly or exactly formed or represented:
an express image.
Synonyms: precise, accurate

So in other words, Jesus is the exact or precise or accurate image of the person of the Father. Biblehubs interlinear translation has the following:

So according to Biblehub, Jesus is the exact expression of the substance of the Father. If Jesus had a need to have an immortal resurrected body of flesh and bones, I would believe that the Father also has one. Why? Because it is part of the perfection of God. Jesus became just the same as his Father. Jesus has made it possible that all mankind will eventually resurrect with bodies of flesh and bones to live immortally and forever in that state of being just as Jesus will and the Father do.

what is the universe the heavens created - dmbfk - they are as physical as spiritual ... energy and matter.

and for the true atheist - do they have a brain ...

One of the questions that not only I but many people have when learning that God has a body of flesh and bones is, "how could God be omnipresent if he has a body of flesh and bones that can only be in one place at a time?". Yes, I believe God is omnipresent. But how could God be omnipresent if he is a being with a body of flesh and bones? Upon studying this over a period of time I came to realize that part of God's being is his glory. God is a being of light. If God were to appear to us in all his glory, we would see him as a being that emits light from his body. His light is greater that the light that shines from the sun at midday. This light is part of his being and his light fills the immensity of space. It is in this way that God is omnipresent. His glory is in all and throug-h all things. In a revelation to the Prophet Joseph Smith, we learn the following:

Doctrine and Covenants 88:1-13
1 Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you who have assembled yourselves together to receive his will concerning you:
2 Behold, this is pleasing unto your Lord, and the angels rejoice over you; the alms of your prayers have come up into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth, and are recorded in the book of the names of the sanctified, even them of the celestial world.
3 Wherefore, I now send upon you another Comforter, even upon you my friends, that it may abide in your hearts, even the Holy Spirit of promise; which other Comforter is the same that I promised unto my disciples, as is recorded in the testimony of John.
4 This Comforter is the promise which I give unto you of eternal life, even the glory of the celestial kingdom;
5 Which glory is that of the church of the Firstborn, even of God, the holiest of all, through Jesus Christ his Son—
6 He that ascended up on high, as also he descended below all things, in that he comprehended all things, that he might be in all and through all things, the light of truth;
7 Which truth shineth. This is the light of Christ. As also he is in the sun, and the light of the sun, and the power thereof by which it was made.
8 As also he is in the moon, and is the light of the moon, and the power thereof by which it was made;
9 As also the light of the stars, and the power thereof by which they were made;
10 And the earth also, and the power thereof, even the earth upon which you stand.
11 And the light which shineth, which giveth you light, is through him who enlighteneth your eyes, which is the same light that quickeneth your understandings;
12 Which light proceedeth forth from the presence of God to fill the immensity of space—
13 The light which is in all things, which giveth life to all things, which is the law by which all things are governed, even the power of God who sitteth upon his throne, who is in the bosom of eternity, who is in the midst of all things.

God not only has a body of flesh and bones but he is a being of light, which light fills the immensity of space and in this way God is in all and through all things the light of truth. In this way he is omnipresent. Much like a light bulb is only in one place but the light it emits fills the entire room.
