I really do not like being a pessimist...perhaps someone can put forth a persuasive argument regarding how America will get back on track and become once again a great nation?

We have a future, though likely a divided one. On the whole we’re likely better off for it. While the fence sitters who occupy the majority bemoan that a split, bloody, or peaceful will never happen; it’s the more passionate, and “extreme” of either side of the spectrum that really make shit happen. For better, or worse. Both end of the spectrum are far apart. I predict that distance will only continue to grow. The middle folks will just continue to do what they always do. Nothing. Just go along for the ride, and try to keep their heads down...

Unfortunately, I think you are correct.

This sad state of affairs is the result of insane immigration policies aka the implementation of LBJ's radical immigration bill passed in 1965 which altered our previous policy of favoring European immigrants and instead of that began to favor immigrants from 3rd world nations in Africa, the Middle East and S. America.

The result of that has been an influx of low i.q.,uneducated, unhealthy and diseased immigrants who in addition have brought their alien religious beliefs coupled with a basic hatred of America.

Meanwhile, back at the Ranch the average American is clueless as ever...get what little info they do get from a biased media constantly spinning the news and making up fake news.

Many folks on either side have no desire to remain the the same house. Though neither side seems willing to leave. It seems the writing is on the wall. For those interested enough to read it...

In the past immigrants had an intense desire to become Ameicans...I am talking about when most of our immigrants were European...ya know people like us with similar morals,religion and racial makeup.

Our new immigrants shun assimilation....they have no desire to be Americans and in fact many of them are very hostile to America...a lot of which is based on their alien religious beliefs....they just come here to milk the cash cow and send as much money as possible back to the old country to which they come and go as often as they possibly can wherein a lot of them become radicalized if they were nt already...especially the younger generation....very popular now to hate America.

Prior to welfare , immigrants received welfare? Of course not

Many illegal immigrants now do not collect some form of welfare? Of course they do.
