I have read The Great Battle by Ellen G. White, and also Steps to Christ, by her. Though she has funny things said in places, over all her writing ministers to what one needs to hear. But she is not a prophet, according to biblical standards, though she had, and has, a following that regards her as a prophet. The Bible and not her determine the right doctrines of faith. Still other churches error in having doctrines they determine. Ultimately it is Christ we should follow, he who models the virtues that we should not hold back or compromise with willful limits.

I do know some German so as to follow that. Trusting the Holy Spirit is right, it is only those of us who are believers and who are in Christ who will have the Spirit of God with us, and we are to be a temple to him. We are helped with him being with us and giving us guidance, but we have to pay attention and not let temptation into sin contrary to him draw us away. As for what Seventh Day Adventists believe, they do not have emphasis on trinity doctrine that I see, some of them believe in that, and some do not, from what I see.
