Doctor burnout.

Too many Americans take drugs, drink too much and eat processed foods. If more folks took better care of themselves there would not be such a healthcare crisis.
As I have posted for years, there is an ENORMOUS INVESTMENT in the healthcare industry that relies on keeping the "pipeline" of sick people filled and continuously flowing. Think about, what happens to all of these acute disease specialists and their facilities in they start losing 50, 60 70 percent of their clientele?

Most doctors are too busy treating the symptoms, not the illness.
True. Most meds are intended to reduce the discomfort of symptoms while the body heals itself. Of course there are exceptions such as antibiotics for bacterial infections.

That’s the definition of palliative care. It’s the model of care that makes the most sense for terminal illness and chronic illness that can only be managed but not “cured”

And doctors most definitely DO treat the disease, when it’s feasible and ethical

Health advice would actually be an unauthorized prescription. Anyway, doctors know that most patients won't follow the advice anyway, so it's a moot point.
You’re making less sense than usual today
