Do You Think That There's Going to be a Peaceful Transfer of Power if Trump Wins?

Hmm…so if that’s they case, then why does the left complain about Trump so much, if they know it’s exactly what they would do in the same situation ?
The usual hypocrite's excuse: "It's different when we do it."

To fair, I guess it's fear that drives both sides. And the parties use that fear - fanning the flames at every opportunity - to stay in power. Each side tells themselves that if they don't "fight", if they don't do the heinous things they think the other side is doing, they'll lose. And the other side will make life a living hell.

The partisan divide is artificial, but it's a real problem. If we don't get a handle on it, we're in serious risk of meltdown.

I heard Trump talking about this earlier at his press conference about how Biden doesn't think that there will be a peaceful transfer of power if Kamala Harris wins. (Darn right!!) However I do believe that if Trump wins that the violence will be even worse.

Trump wins...

Violence.

Dems win...

Reps have to go to work on Monday.

dem don't grab.webp

Democracy needs all parties to believe in democracy. Sadly the GOP do not believe in democracy. They do not believe in America. They believe in trump.

Okay I do believe that Trump made a huge mistake in saying this. There was no peaceful transition of power in 2020 even though it was for a good reason.

so the other pasture....not much of a difference....
LOL so you think the leaders in the GOP picked Trump the way the cult masters in the Dem party booted Biden and installed Harris? Can you explain that theory to me?

WHat, specifically, did he say that you think is a "huge mistake?"

That there was a peaceful transfer of power in 2020. There wasn't, but only because it was fraudulent.

The transfer of power was peaceful. Was there an extremely preventable riot on that day? Absolutely. But the transfer of power was peaceful. Trump conceded and left office on the 21st.

Potatohead is simply trying to gin up more hate and fear in his cult.

Trump conceded and left office on the 21st.

No Trump never conceded but I don't blame him one bit because I wouldn't either. The election was rigged.

He did concede

"Now Congress has certified the results. A new administration will be inaugurated on January 20th. My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly and seamless transition of power."

Oh yeah you're right. He did eventually but he shouldn't have.

I’d imagine there would be a lot of violence.. directly gaslit from the media who have been grooming leftists to think the world will end of Trump wins

The media is the worst part of the political process. They truly need to continue their downward slide but at a faster rate.

Get independent media and Rogan as the new mainstream. People who can hold their composure. It’s tiresome watching leftist MSM “journalists” have temper tantrums at the news desk as they rage with hatred for Trump. They largely have the emotional control of a toddler

He had to. Once the vote was certified by Congress - game over. Which was the basis of their legal strategy.

He had to say the words anyways but you can bet that his mind wasn't agreeing with what was coming out of his mouth.

Obama didn't seem to want a peaceful Transfer when Trump won in 2016. Later he retracted, because he felt the country needed to move on. And that the country needed Trump.
That was Pre-Covid...

Then he saw an opportunity for a third term and that all went out the window.

He incited them every day right up to the afternoon of January 6. He then said "peacefully" just to have a minutiae of deniability. Trump does that constantly... it's his trade mark to wiggle out of responsibility.

He's going to lose in a landslide and he's set up JD Vance as his scapegoat.
Quote any words from Donald Trump inciting people to violence.

Remember that if you quote him saying “fight for your rights” or some such then every Democrat who ever used “fight” in a political speech was inciting insurrection.
