Obongo did pull of something impressive.
He managed to make the hated insurance company use even more money, while getting the tax payers to pay for it (Medicaid) and self payers to get ass raped in costs.... while getting half the population to actually want and support it!!!

I swear, some people will support anything as long as it’s their team who does it.
Pre-existing conditions? There were many other ways to handle that. A subsidized insurance plan for these people would be one way.
Low income people? Again, subsidize insurance plans working with insurance companies to keep costs down. Or just be lazy and expand Medicaid.
Basically the “good things” accomplished by Obongo-care could have been accomplished in much simpler, cheaper ways that didn’t totally ass rape the tax payers and people buying insurance, and get government involved in every aspect of our health care. It’s a shit show, and people support it because they support their team no matter what, instead of looking at things objectively and even giving it a second thought.
