Of course anyone would go to a better place if there were no barriers and the governing authority there did not enforce their border. In addition, if the authorities in that better place virtually welcomed you, gave you shelter, food, etc what would there be to stop you? Now half of the "asylum seekers" are criminals, moochers, drunkards or drug addicts, and devoid of marketable skills. As in, can't hold a job and don't want to.

We really don't know anything about the illegal border hoppers. There are too many of them due to Biden's open border policy to adequately vet. Videos seem to always show mostly military aged males. We don't know if a kid is actually the child of the accompanying adult.

In fact, we couldn't do anything under Biden but just let them in and bus them into our country. Now, we can start to deport the known bad ones first then go about vetting others. It will take a long time because of sheer numbers.

Trump will build the wall, guard the border and go after alien criminals that have slipped into our country. The Cartels will be negatively affected.
