My district has been electing lazy and incompetent bums for most of my life. Or they were too old and tired to do their jobs, but refused to retire. In both parties, I saw the same standard of worthlessness. That is partly why I was a mostly third party voter for a decade. The best I expect now is a puppet who does what the party tells him to do, so my vote next year will be more of a party vote than a candidate vote, if I pick one.
