Do USMB Republicans understand yesterday's House GOP "humiliation"?

Coulter is playing to the crowd. He knows perfectly well that Fox viewers will not support the Government housing anyone.

Can you point to any legislative initiative that proves what you just posted? Please, don't be so partisan to try and name increasing the minimum wage that is just pure BS.

The last welfare reform, that I remember was under Clinton. The Earned Income Tax credit, that was under Reagan. So you will have to show me where the Republicans have tried to stop all help to EVERYONE and not just the slackers.

I can point to Paul Ryans budget that slashes housing allowances. I can point out the fact that Republicans have not proposed any legislation to help anyone other than the wealthy

But Coulter knows that very well. He is just playing to the Fox viewers who hate ALL immigrants......especially the brown ones (even the children)

Well go ahead point out something proposed to happen and hasn't happened. Kind a like that GW scare, the boogy man is gonna get you.

BTW I pointed you to the EITC which was a Reagan initiative, to which you promptly ignored. I also pointed you to welfare reform under Clinton which you also ignored. But keep bring up the boogyman.

After a month of posturing that immigration was a crisis and swift action was called for......Boehner does nothing and takes a 5 week vacation

Not only that, these guys keep screaming "it's all about immigration". It's about refugee status under their law that Bush signed in 2002 and again in 2008.

It's like them screaming about "voter ID" when their voter suppression tactics are much more broad and damaging.

If they can scream the loudest, they believe they are controlling the narrative by limiting the conversation to their talking points.

Besides, we need children that grow into adults who actually like to learn. It will offset some of the terrible damage perpetrated by the GOP.

Thats all Boehner can do is scream ad act outraged. He does not have the votes to pass the most simple legislation. Even legislation that had 2/3 support of the House

He can't do a thing about immigration reform. He screamed about the VA and then sat on bills to fix their problems. He yells for Obama to do something about immigrant children and then can't even pass a bill for $500 million to get started

Boehner is the worst Speaker in modern times

Why can't those on the left understand the difference between legal and illegal immigration?

Are they really that stupid?

Why can't the right comprehend how stoooooooooopid they are???????

Obama lowered immigration & deported many more illegals than his idiot predecessor.

He only "deported" more than President G.W. Bush did if you use Obama's numbers, which includes those turned back at the border. A number NOT included in President Bush's number.

But then you knew that and continue to spread the misinformation as if it were true.

Why do you suppose if Obama is so tough on immigration the problem is worse then ever?

Yesssssss.........while at the same time sending signals that if you send your kids, we'll take care of them and causing a flood of illegal aliens of all ages. Pretty nifty trick.

I will agree, I don't like Boehner but Reid is far worse.

The Sad Reality of Harry Reid?s Senate « Commentary Magazine

Though Rubio didn’t mention it, it’s worth here pointing out what exactly Reid was doing instead of passing bipartisan legislation. While the Senate still hasn’t passed a budget in three years, Reid was wasting Senate floor time on stunts like leveling unfounded accusations against Mitt Romney and possibly flouting ethics rules to campaign for Obama on the Senate floor–all instead of a jobs bill or a budget. Then Reid has the audacity to say that the time for amendments is over, because they have to get moving on temporary bills to fund the government, which shouldn’t be necessary in the first place if Reid were doing his job.

How can anyone in either party work on this when the President says I want something done on the 2008 bill.
Then says later I will veto any bills that changes the 2008 bill.

What does your link have to do with Boehners failure yesterday

Two years ago? Are you kidding me?

15th post
House Republicans yell and scream and complain that nothing is being done.

Then they right a bill to do something.

And promptly take a five week vacation without voting ON THEIR OWN BILL!?!?!?!

The GOP is right about one thing. There is a total lack of leadership in Washington. And they are doing NOTHING to fill the void.

The House is still in session today. They have not gone home.

Americans are in no mood to give anything to the invaders. They are melting phone lines to appeal to representatives. Boehner knew this. He knew it before he brought the matter up for a vote.

I was watching Fox and Friends this morning and Ann Coulter complained about housing the immigrants and said:

"What about Americans first?"

I agree with her but heres the problem with her objection. She doesnt want immigrants to receive help and I understand that. She wants to put Americans first I understand that too.

But when you talk about Govt helping Americans thats when you find out that even tho she asked "what about Americans first" she also opposes helping Americans first TOO.

Its the worst shell game I've seen in a while

Are you quite sure of what Coulter opposes? Help comes in many forms maybe the help she wants to give Americans is different then the help we are giving and you may think we should be giving. The debate may indeed not be whether we help people or not, but how we help people. Is flood the border with low educated/ low skilled labor into a country where jobs for those types are few and far between really helping anyone?

Maybe or maybe not. I'm not sure if you object with anything I said.

Border bills stall in House, Senate - CNN.com

Before going on vacation, Republicans block both the House AND Senate bills

Then blame Obama for not doing anything
