I guess we made a mistake when Geoge W. Bush broke with his wrong doctrine "preemptive strike" the international laws. Everyone is always able to start any war under the premise "vorbeugender Erstschlag" or "preemptive strike". As a reaction Putin started a war against Georgia in 2008 when George W. Bush still had been president of the USA and did not react. Indeed as well Vladimir Putin (war on Georgia) and George W. Bush (war on the Iraq) should had been arrested and should had been brought in front of an independent international court. Instead of this the whole world watched how the situation became more and more escalating.
