I was checking out the delegate counts on CNN.

Apparently despite Sanders kicking her butt in both states clinton is winning 431 to 50. Seriously? I know they are counting superdelegates but shouldn't they before adding superdelegates so it portrays an accurate account of how the people are voting?

Im not saying this to be ignorant to you.
But when are the American people going to wake the **** up and realize that our individual votes have not been considered for many years when it comes to presidents. Some times a conspiracy theory can be right.
The only way to fix this is to get rid of the electoral college and go for a straight 1 on 1 vote. Yes, I realize that would have meant that Gore would have destroyed the country for 4 years, but Im willing to take a chance on these things if thats what it takes to bring some level of confidence back to the process.

How about getting the Democratic Party to stop their super delegates?

Back in 08, she won Texas handily....I believe Obama won Idaho the same day or week. When they got around to awarding the delegates, the net delegate gain was the same.

I don't recall many people coming to her defense then...

That's a good question, and I'm not sure there's really an answer. State parties don't really bargain for whom their delegates will support anymore. But, there's a decent chance the gop goes to Clev with no candidate having 1,237 pledged delegates, which is the winning number. There should be 207 unpledged delegates. If it's close between the first and second place "guys," then possibly the 207 would be decisive. I think each one is free to vote for whomever, and given the chaos I'm not sure Trump couldn't sway some. Though the antipathy towards Trump from the mega-donors may affect that.

But assume candidate 2 and candidate 3 do a deal, for 3 to be the VP nominee if 3 urges his delegates to defect to 2? I believe it becomes a free for all after a first ballot. And, assume even further that even with that incestuous alliance (-: 2 and 3 still need some unpledged support. Would that be brokered?
