I went to see “Wicked” yesterday and I can attest that it was remarkably faithful to the source material… the Broadway show, not the book.

They didn’t mess with the characters or the music or the plot. They used effects only to enhance the show, not to change it.

I’m only pissed that now I have to wait a year to see the ending.

It's really sad......

Yep, as did I. Every Sunday night it was Walt's Wonderful World of Color along with Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom and Andy Rooney and 60 Minutes.
But the real heyday of Disney was at the advent of animation when they were absolute king.

Now Disney is mainly about social engineering unsuspecting kids into being progressive thinkers.

One studio, however, seemingly has taken advantage of Universal's failed attempts to make Wicked into a feature film: Disney.
