I am stuck in the proverbial rut as to what to make for supper. Nothing sounds good and nothing new comes to mind........but ya gotta eat every stinking day.

Things we've had lately and/or is often on the menu.........

Asian type dishes.......stir fry/chow mein, almond chicken & gravy, sweet & sour chicken or pork, mongolian beef, curry, won ton soup,
Mexican......tacos every which way imaginable, burritos, enchiladas, one pot shells & beef, sometimes red sometimes green or verde.
meatloaf
swiss steak without tomatoes
salisbury steaks with mushroom onion gravy
Miisissippi pot roast, have also used chicken in place of beef
Italian......spaghetti, chicken parmesan, sausage & peppers, pizza
Breakfast for supper.......eggs benedict, sausage breakfast bowl (sausage, onions, peppers, potatoes, mushrooms and beaten egg cooked together), pancakes, french toast.
Soup & sandwiches

Anybody have any other ideas???

I like this heat-n-eat brisket. Since I don't eat grain, I just slap it on the plate next to some coleslaw, and I'm good.

So i did something monday night that was reallllllly good. I usually make my sauces, but this time they were bought. I used a jar of garlic alfredo, and a jar of tomato basil spaghetti sauce. Just mix em together. It is fantastic!
For the meat, I used stew meat. Slow cooked it until it was getting to the shredding stage, and stopped. I wanted it to have some form, i guess? IDK lol cant think of the right word. I did the stew meat because i originally wanted to make meat balls, but ground beef is freaking crazy expensive right now, and the stew meat was on sale.
I will probably make spaghetti that exact same way from now on.
Oh, and while I was cooking the meat in the sauce, i added some water. When everything was done, I mixed in zome moz cheese and a tad bit of tomato paste to help thicken it up a bit. It coated the noodles perfectly.

We had air-fried rib lamb chops with sweet potato fries, spinach souffle, a warm baguette, and red wine last week. It was pretty good! 😊

We also have cucumber-dill salad with a light ranch dressing with just about every other meal. But that's just us...

I did that not too long ago, mixing the sauces and I think there is an actual name for it, just can't think of it at the moment.

and yes, homemade pot pies are awesome......that will be in a few days, just because it will be cooler to use the oven
