Digital Education in the USA

According to this, digital schools are growing. Will they replace brick and mortar ones? So far, about 315K attend classes this way but how many other schools use the web for their courses and information gathering? And how many students take online classes from the public schools establishment?

In my district in FL taking at an online class is a graduation requirement (I believe it may be a state requirement as well). That would make sense to me since FL's numbers are so high compared to the other states.

Students overwhelmingly take 1-2 online classes with Florida Virtual School.

They're not outside of their traditional classrooms. They're not putting the "brick & mortar" classrooms out.
