So you don't use mass-transit in Canada because you can always hitch a Moose or something. To worship the god anywhere is an anomaly. He's only real in the minds of the minority in Canada who still believe in the superstition.
On the level at which reality is accepted, of necessity by government, no exceptions to Covid rules for safety can be tolerated for the superstitious few.
This is frankly a difference between America and Canada and it can be defined under the parameter of 'safety'. To compromise on safety we would be compromising on our rating as #1 on quality of life.
Granting exceptions to people who believe in gods is not a 'freedom' being taken from them that could be balanced with our need for safety.
Rights and freedoms must be weighed for legitimacy against greater rights and freedoms we Canadians have chosen, that has made us #1.
That could be suggesting that Americans have chosen the wrong 'rights and freedoms' based on wrong priorities!
Why would we allow a large group of Christians to gather during Covid anymore than Americans would allow a 30 person clusterfuk on a school bus?
Priorities? Americans undoubtedly claim the 'right' to the school bus clusterfuk! Why should they be denied?
