Did You Know: That Stonewall Jackson's Unit Was Extremely Feared...and he was Shot by his Own

Stonewall Jackson was shot at nighttime by his own troops, and died during surgery complications...did you know that his unit was extremely feared by the Union? The South was winning battle after battle until Stonewall was shot and killed that fateful night.

Gettysburg might have been a different fight if Stonewall was alive...the entire war could have changed. It makes you realize: Life is so funny, isn't it?
You should try not being so weird and see how it goes for you. One man would not have changed the war.

But he could have changed one battle that could have turned the tide of the War...

When you lose a leader like Stonewall Jackson it could have ramifications that could lead to defeat...

It is always said kill the leader and the followers will be weaken, so the OP is somewhat correct had Stonewall Jackson lived the war might have turned out different or maybe not but one damn thing is for sure the Union Army and it Generals were happy he ( Jackson ) was dead...

The South was outnumbered and the North controlled most of the manufacturing. The South was going to lose and lose badly regardless who led them.

Yes, FATE is "funny."

I'm hoping that FATE has "funny" plans in store for all those people (in politics & the media) who spread lies about President Trump and who supported the Insurrection last year by BLM supporters.

A guy can wish, can't he?

`The longer the war went on the more advantage the North had. More industry. More people. Bigger Navy that allowed them to blockade Southern ports. The South had better generals and better cavalry. It could easily have swung either way. The North had Sherman with his willingness to bombard and burn out civilians.

Grant was a recovering (or not) alcoholic. Sherman could have been diagnosed as bi-polar. He thought he was God's terrible swift sword and burned a Southern city. "Black Dave" Hunter burned barns and homes in his rampage through the Shenandoah Valley. His troops pillaged homes and confiscated livestock and hanged civilians who resisted. General "beast" Butler thought he was the king of New Orleans. Any woman who resisted (and there were only women left) was branded a whore and treated as such. Union Generals would have been hanged for war crimes in a just world but the winner writes the history books.

There was no chance that Jackson living would've had a significant effect on the results of the American Civil War.

There is no way Stonewall Jackson not being shot would have changed who won the Civil War.
REASON: The southern states (Democratic) were agricultural based economies. The North (Republican) consisted of industrial based economies. The North lost a few battles in the beginning, but quickly rebounded as they had the industrial might to do so. The South didn't have the same resources. The Northern troops were better equipped and better armed. The South had no actual overall unified military cohesion, as each state wanted to control their own armies (something Robert E. Lee lamented), whereas the North had actual overall control of all the Northern armies and unified them to better use.
