Did the Tucker Video Gambit Work?

Because you don't show criminals when they are NOT committing crimes.

Should the 9/11 commission have spent time showing the hijackers having coffee in the airport before the hijacking?
/——-/ Shytface had to distort what happened. If he shows the peaceful segments and the video of the guards walking around after libs said he was killed, then he would have lost the narrative. But, I think you already understand that, and how Tucker severely undermined the Jan 6 narrative.

You link does not support your claim. Just the opposite
No...it doesn't.

If YOUR STATE doesn't have a Castle Doctrine or equivalent law on the books...if someone breaks into your home...it is LIKELY that you have a duty to retreat...and you definitely cannot use lethal force just because there is an intruder in your home

That is a legal fact.

"What does Castle Doctrine law even do?
If your state has a Castle Doctrine law in place, it means you are legally allowed to use force, up to and including deadly force, to defend your home. In some states that do not have Castle Doctrine laws, the homeowner or resident is legally expected to attempt to flee their own home rather than defend themselves against a home invader. What Castle Doctrine law does is it gives you what some states refer to as a legal presumption of reasonableness, meaning you were not legally required to retreat and were likely justified in your use of force.

Get it now?

If you break a window and enter my home in my state ... that, in itself, is justification to use deadly force.

If you live in a state, territory or district without a Castle Doctrine Law...just breaking in IS NOT ENOUGH to warrant the use of lethal force.

You must, if possible, retreat...even from your own home...if there is not a reasonable threat of grievous bodily harm or death to you or someone else.

The invader just being in your house doesn't meet the threshold.

If unarmed Ashli Babbitt climbed through a broken window in your house in Washington D.C. and you shot and killed her...you would go to jail.

Here is the link...

"D.C. home intruder law.

The District does not have a law targeted specifically to a home intruder. In terms of self-defense, D.C. has a law that states a person can defend themselves when they truly believe that they're in danger of bodily harm or death. However, the law also states the person is required to take reasonable measures by stepping back or walking away."

Tucker managed to rile up "the base" with his cherry picked release of minutes of the Jan 6 Capitol attack but even GOP legislators condemned it as dishonest

Tucker Carlson’s January 6 lies throw Republicans into disarray

Senate Republicans are condemning Carlson’s downplaying of the insurrection. House leaders, not so much.

So aside from giving "the Following" something to yak about for a while...did it accomplish anything?

Do Independents now think that Jan 6 was just a "tour of the Capitol?

In spades.

A population already doubting everything about the govt now doubts this too. As well they should

His video clips were just showing what the committee didn’t want to show you. THEIR clips were cherry picked.

The “whole story” would have to include hours of violent attacks on cops and the Capitol.

Did Tucker show ANY of that?
No, because the J6 committe already showed that repeatedly for 2 years. What tucker was doing was simply showing you all the stuff that the committee didn’t want to show you.

You mean the stuff that didn't matter. Like showing the 9/11 hijackers having breakfast before they boarded the planes they flew into the buildings.

Pffft, everything has context and meaning boy, otherwise it's just parts of the puzzle that were missing. Now the picture becomes much more clearer. You hate that.

He showed the MAGArats attacking cops, smashing windows, trying to crush cops in a doorway?

No kidding

That kinda blows away his tourist claims
Yes,there were rioters. There were also “tourists.” In a real insurrection there would have been more insurrectionists than tourists and they would have been armed to the teeth with firearms.

THE JAN 6TH RIOT WAS NOT AN INSURRECTION.

The rioters who did damage on Jan 6th should be prosecuted. The tourists not so much, especially those who were invited in by the Capitol Police.

Those who burned buildings and looted and pillaged in the summer BLM and Antifa riots should also be prosecuted. So should those who rioted at the White House.

I am all for peaceful demonstrations but not riots.
