Did Secret Service FAIL Obama? {KING}

Wait.

A person is standing next to POTUS within an arm's distance from him for an hour and on stage with him who is a fraud and a con man that is skitso, violent, and has episodes of hallucinations....

and The Secret Service ALLOWED that to take place?

Are you serious??

There job is to keep him alive, period. If he lives, they succeed, if he dies, they fail. Is he alive or dead?

Shouldn't several ppl be fired over this???
Yes, they should. But since when has incompentence been an offense one could lose their job over in this Administration?

This was a serious breech of security, and the President was in serious danger.

If Obama wants to play the "nice guy" with his SS, somebody else should be raising hell.

Chuck Hagel should be livid.

Michelle Obama should be on a rampage.

Joe Biden should be unable to be consoled.

Our S. African ambassador should be making the newspaper with demands and threats.

Obama should insist on a visibly armed SS next to him with a frown on his face for the next calendar year.

The head of the SS should resign out of honor.

2nd in command at the SS should be demoted....just because.

And a new protocol should be instituted to make sure ANYONE within arm's reach of the POTUS for over 10 seconds in a controlled environment...interviews with SS and has a background run on them. Period.

Seems Jacob Zuma runs an administration as incompetent as your king gutter trash, but there's no reason to get so bent out of shape, nothing happened. BTW don't you think your king gutter trash could have taken the dude for a few seconds?

Excuse me? Why should Hagel be livid? He doesn't run the Secret Service, Jacob Lew does.

Their job is to also keep him safe and ensure that he is not in any danger. They failed that test.

The TSA’s job is to prevent planes from being blown up as well but we don’t say that because the underwear bomber failed in his undertaking that the TSA did not fail in the screening process. Part of the job is to ensure that the plane is safe. The SS failed in the same manner here as well – they allowed a man that is apparently a schizophrenic to be close enough to attack the president. That should not have happened.

We'll have to see how this plays out before we blame the Secret Service. All we know at this point is that the South African security failed terribly. Remember there were over 80 other visiting heads of state, so their protective services "allowed" it to happen, too.

the secret service failed terribly they relied on another government

to vet this guy

thankfully it turned out to be nothing more then

a bunch of gibberish

Even though the Secret service had to rely on a foreign country security teams for certain information they should have conducted their own "Due Diligence". I even do that when I travel to a foreign country. This obviously was a massive failing on the part of the Secret Service and any other intelligence gathering agency they may rely upon.

"In the hours before President Barack Obama arrived at a Johannesburg soccer stadium to honor Nelson Mandela, the White House staff was in the dark on critical details. here would the president and first lady Michelle Obama sit? When was Obama supposed to speak? Who else would be on stage during the speech?

The result was an array of confusion and security risks that typically would not be tolerated by the Secret Service in the United States. The situation showed just how the Secret Service often is at the mercy of foreign governments to make arrangements when the president is overseas.

There were metal detectors and X-ray machines at the stadium, but they were not used on the initial crowds streaming in for the ceremony, according to Associated Press reporters on scene.

Many people walked through with little or no screening. Inside the stadium there were few signs of the heavy security that routinely would accompany an event with Obama and other world leaders."

The very thought that no one bothered to check this twit demands sackings.

dont think our enemies didnt witness this

and learn something from that

everything around this guy has disappeared btw

I tend to think Obama's failed the secret service more than the other way around.

I sincerely hope the SS never fail him. Last thing we need is some nutjob doing their worst.

I'm trying to figure out why a Socialist, predominantly black country would have anyone who wanted to harm Obama. He was probably safer there than in America. But that's just an assumption. I think if anyone had tried to kill any of the world leaders there the people in the stands would have tore him to pieces with their bare hands or the Cuban Secret Service would have taken him out back and shot him.

I do not believe they "wanted" him harmed. IMO this is all on the Secret Service, they have a responsibility to conduct their work regardless of who else is involved. I agree if anyone wanted him harmed it would have happened in this instance.

No, only the US president travels with a vast though useless 'protective service'. Some foreigners find this funny, others a testimony to American arrogance. Everyone else relies on the local government-provided security And it was mostly head of Government - like Thorning Schmidt and Cameron, NOT heads of state.

I care when a POTUS is placed in a compromising position.

America will go to war over certain things. Harming the POTUS on foreign soil would be one of those things.

I would like to avoid that.

Because war is draining our economy, and putting us further in debt.

So I don't like sloppy work that increases the chance of international incidents taking place, when all that was needed was due dilligence on the part of ppl paid well to do their jobs.

Nope. I don't think that if the Signer with those previous convictions had murdered (or raped) your president the US would have declared war on South Africa. Mind you who knows what President Biden might get up to ........
